Baby is kicking all the time. makes me happy. It seemed like he was playing with me last night, I would push or poke at my tummy then lay my hand on my tummy and he would push back.
It was kind of funny.
Jaris has felt him kick a few times too, he likes to hang out more on my right side than my left so thats where I usually feel him.
Still feel really good, I have had some "growing pains"-pulled a muscle when I rolled off the bed or got off the couch wrong so I hurt a little from that but the nurse said I will be fine.
I have had my last dance performance so am confining myself to simple stretches and cardio type movements for the most part during my dance class- will probably have to stop going all together in the last couple of months before the baby is born. Eventually the tummy will just get too big to get around.
I can't wait to hold the little guy, as you can see from his ultrasound photo, he will be absolutely adorable. He has his Dad's nose, and I think my little ears. He always has his hands by his face and ears and during our last ultrasound he just looked so peaceful, hopefully a good omen that he will be a happy and laid back baby.
Biggest cravings have been Fruits and Veggies. Been eating more meat- only cause I have to. And lots of water- been craving juice but my doctor said too much juice can cause my carbohydrate and sugar levels to go really high so I had to limit myself to one glass every couple of days- its water and milk the rest of the time. I also had to switch my bread and pasta intake for whole grains and wheat. seems to be working so far.
The doctor said I gained ten pounds in a month, true. But the way I think about it, I was 147 lbs in December at the beginning of this pregnancy, and I dropped 10 lbs in January and Febuary. now I way 147 lbs again. So does that mean that I gained ten lbs, or does it mean that I haven't gained anything during this pregnancy- hard to say. I know that I gained all my weight back fast so there is definately reason to watch what I eat cause I don't want to gain too much too fast like that again, but really- I just gained what I had lost before right? Oh well, it doesn't much matter as long as I am following doctors orders, right. I've been keeping track of myself so I can make sure I am not losing or gaining beyond what the doctor wants.
Anyway. Jaris and I are really excited. We have been making adjustments at home and can't wait to bring the beautiful baby boy home.
Jaris has become so helpful and sweet. I love it when he feels the baby move- makes us both really happy. He looks so cute, Jaris that is. We are truly living a dream right now.

That is great that Jaris can feel Little Man move around. I am excited for you guys! I love that little man tons!
I lost and gained weight like you did when I was preggo and well I just told everyone that I gain or lost from my wieght at the begining of my pregnancy. So, my thoughts are that you haven't gained a pound since you lost 10lbs and now gained it back. The way I look at it is if you were one wieght to start off with lost it and now are that weight again then you haven't gained any....I know it sounds a little dishonest, but you are now what you started off being.
Glad to see you finally started a blog now you can document all the little things, so you don't forget. It is a great way of journaling without thinking you really are. He sure is a good kicker or puncher, even I felt him! That was fun for me. Thanks for letting me.
